THE EVENT

Join EP on Monday, June 22nd, 2009, as they investigate one of the most well-known haunted hot spots in the world--The Waverly Hills Sanatorium.  This is an EP exclusive event, and we will have full and private access to the 180,000 square foot facility including the infamous body chute.  The building was used as a tuberculosis hospital from 1924-1961, and then a geriactrics center until 1980.  Many claims of paranormal activity include shadowy figures, full bodied apparitions, voices, screams, and object manipulation.  Nearly 10,000 people died a horrible death here from the tuberculosis and the severe surgeries and treatments that many had to undergo.  There is also  a story of a nurse who hanged herself in the building who is said to still linger.  Such overwhelming tragedy in a single location can lead to a lot of paranormal activity, and EP wants to invite YOU to see what we might be able to find.

The investigation will run from 8pm on June 22nd to 4am the following morning.  You must bring your own equipment (recorders, cameras, etc), but EP will be setting up full gear in the reported hot spots for you to see.  There will also be a pre-investigation Ghost Hunting 101 class where the EP crew will explain techniques and theories.

HOTEL ACCOMODATIONS

A special group rate has been set up at the Comfort Inn that is about 4 miles from the property.  It is a brand new hotel.  Simply call the hotel at (502) 447-2096 and tell them you are with EVERYDAY PARANORMAL and you want the group rate of $101.99 plus tax.  The blocked rooms are double doubles, so you can bring your friends or family to share rooms to reduce the per person cost (max 4 per room).  If for some reason they run out of double doubles, we can have the king suite rooms (that have a sleeper sofa) at the same rate.  You will need to reserve the room with your own credit card.  We will be checking in sometime in the afternoon on June 22nd, but the hotel said if you would like to come in the day before, you can get the same rate.

TRANSPORTATION
