SUNDAY, MAY 18TH, 2008
The Myrtles Plantation is well-known for being one of the most haunted locations in the world. Everyday Paranormal recently conducted an investigation here, and we were able to capture some of the most astounding paranormal evidence ever recorded at the plantation. We are actually still in the process of reviewing all of the evidence gathered, but as of now we have unprecedented video and audio footage (not to mention a truckload of personal experiences from that night). What made that night so unique was that we allowed people from the general public to participate in the investigation, and when the investigation was over, we all stayed the night there in one of the eleven rooms. The experience was FANTASTIC--so much so that Everyday Paranormal has decided to make this a regular event, and we want to let YOU drive the investigations.
Here is how it works: Everyday Paranormal will reserve the entire plantation on SUNDAY, MAY 18TH, 2008. We can only accomodate 22 people (double occupancy on 11 rooms). The cost is $299 per couple, and this price includes
Check-in is at 2 PM, and a member of Everyday Paranormal will be there to greet you and hand out the keys. Check out is at noon the following day. This is a rain or shine event, and unfortunately there are no cancelation refunds unless the event is canceled by the Myrtles or Everyday Paranormal. Here is what people who went on our last investigation are saying:
I just wanted to personally thank Brad, Levi and Barry and the whole Everydayparanormal Team for making my trip to the Myrtles Plantation one I will never forget! The event was well organized and provided a balance of group activies as well as time to follow your personal agenda. I had a wonderful time on our evening investigation and the experiences from that night have left me with no doubt that the Myrtles Plantation is a place of paranormal activity. I have been to other Ghost Tours in various cities, but this has been the best experience by far! I would recommend this trip for anyone - whether you believe in Ghosts or not. The experience will change you!

Photo of apparition getting up from rocking chair and light anomalies.
Second image above is a close-up.
(Note: There are no lights on the porch when this photo was taken.)

EVP captured in the Chloe bedroom of the museum portion of the building.
First image above is our conversation that preceded the EVP, and the second
image above is an isolated version of just the EVP itself. The EVP may be the first
positive evidence from the Myrtles that validates the existence of phantom Civil
War soldiers. Listen as you will here a voice say "Colonol, aren't you afraid?"
Video recorded in the Caretaker's Cabin. When you click the video icon, you will see
something fly past the camera then here knocking noises. No one was in the cabin
at this time, and our first thought was that it was a bug. Then we did a freeze frame
on the object that flys by (second image above). It is not an object at all, but a puff of smoke (ecto mist in motion).

EVP recorded in the Gentleman's Parlor of the museum portion of the building.
William Winters was called onto the porch just outside this parlor and shot to death
back in the 1800s. Ironically, the EVP we captured is a voice saying "get out here".
The first image is the original recording, and you will hear us commenting on hearing
footsteps prior to the EVP. The second image is an isolated version of just the EVP itself.

These videos were recorded on our DVR via IR surveillance cameras. This is a view from
the William Winters room into the adjoining Ruffin-Stirling room. One of the main claims
in these rooms is that a child is seen and frequently jumps on the bed. The child is
thought to be a little girl who died of yellow fever in the room this camera is in. The first image
above shows a child's transparent shadow creep into the room almost as if curious. The second
image was taken one minute later where you will see a shadow flash by the door and the light in the
adjoining room turns off by itself. No one was in the building at this time.

The video above was captured on the same camera as the previous DVR footage, except in the 3:00 AM hour where one of our investigators is actually asleep in bed in the far room. We once again catch the solid shadow of a child moving from right to left in the far bedroom. What makes this so interesting is the
interference we get on the camera in the far room at the time the shadow passes by. The second image
shows a split screen of the three cameras we had running. Camera 1 is where you can see the shadow, and camera 3 is where you see the interference at the same time.
We have more evidence that we are still trying to get together to post here for you. Stay tuned for our webisode of this investigation as it will explain this evidence in more detail and account for all the personal experiences and other paranormal activity not captured by our equipment. As you can see, it was a very active night!

The EVP above was recorded in the General Bradford Suite. I was commenting on how our Tech Manager Hector has a lot of good equipment. My statement isn't very funny (not so much as to cause laughter), but the spirit in this room must have thought it was very funny. You will hear one of the most unnerving, sarcastic laughs occur right after I make the comment. None of us in the room made this sound.
